This Community Practice Connections™ program provides an in-depth review of some of the key highlights from the 20th Annual Winter Lung Conference, held in February 2023. This unique and engaging multimedia activity is ideal for the community-based clinician and focuses on the practical aspects of managing patients with lung cancer, putting recent clinical trial data into clinical context. • Outline current and emerging approaches for patient selection and decisions concerning the use of immunotherapy and targeted agents
• Discuss clinical trial data on therapeutic approaches for early-stage and locally advanced lung cancer
• Integrate immunotherapeutic strategies to patients with thoracic malignancies along the continuum of disease
• Assess the use of cytotoxic, targeted, and other systemic agents in the management of patients with lung cancer with or without oncogenic drivers
• Review approaches to mitigate and manage treatment-related adverse events in patients with lung cancer.
