CBC from the Ground Up - The Classroom, Part 3

CBC from the Ground Up - The Classroom, Part 3 is organized by NurseTim, Inc.
NCPD for this event expires on 2-29-2024
Description:
Using conceptual learning is crucial to the successful implementation of the concept-based curriculum and the development of clinical judgment in our students. The paradigm shift for faculty and students is significant and can be a challenge. Creating effective learning and assessment activities is as important as curriculum revision. Emphasis on developing habits of "compare and contrast" with everything from life-span to pharmacology will be addressed. Helping faculty better understand the crossover from class time to the lab to clinical will be explored.
Objectives:
• Participants will be able to critique a learning activity based on the principles of compare and contrast.
• Critique a learning activity that can be used in class and clinical.
• Analyze student retention and success strategies to promote the development of clinical judgment in the concept-based curriculum.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
