Overview:
Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a collaborative model of medical education and care management that seeks to empowers clinicians everywhere to provide better care to more people, right where they live. The focus of this ECHO project is to provide the enhanced diabetes, lipid, obesity and lipid knowledge to clinicians that will allow them to improve cardiometabolic care to patients in under-served areas in the Washington State. Through participation in telemedicine conferences with specialists, this project provides primary care clinicians and other health care providers (PA, ARNP, RN), access to specialists.
