Workshop Overview:
2-Day Lecture/Hands-On:
Upon completion of the Level one Spear implant workshop, participants are now ready to tackle more complex multiple implant cases in addition to more challenging anterior esthetic situations. This workshop will also address immediate and delayed implant placement including the indications and contraindications of both. In addition to the surgical concepts learned, attendees will also learn treatment planning concepts designed to simplify cases and minimize complications. Like all Spear implant workshops, this workshop is designed to be intensive hands-on to allow clinicians to apply and understand the concepts they have learned.
What you will learn at this workshop:
• Understand general implant planning principles expanded to multiple teeth
• Learn the advantages of using implant planning software coupled with guided surgery for multiple implant sites
• When to immediately place and immediately load implants
• Soft tissue considerations for esthetic implant situations
• Digital custom healing abutment use
• Freehand, shell, and fully digital provisionalization workflows
• Pig jaw surgery
• Management of minor complications
• Know the differences of shade, texture, translucency, abutment material selection and how it affects anterior implant esthetics.
