Course Description:
This program is the eight of 10 modules included in the Anesthesia Assistant Training Program (AATP). Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of anesthetic emergencies will be discussed, with special emphasis on respiratory problems. Course Objectives:
• Demonstrate proficiency in executing the lost airway algorithm
• Discuss the full range of airway adjuncts
• Identify and explain indications for albuterol, epinephrine, naloxone and flumazenil
