CBCT imaging has been primarily considered an integral part of the guided implant surgical process. However, with the availability of ultra-low-dose imaging, 3D radiology is now a fundamental tool for routine diagnostics in general dentistry. When you understand ultra low dose 3D imaging can sustain image quality and provide less radiation compared to traditional 2D digital radiography, there is no question that a paradigm shift is coming.
