Dr. Samuel N. Grief, MD, FCFP, FAAFP is a Family Physician since 1991. His new position is with CVS Health as a medical director. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community health centers, private practice, and academia. Formerly, he was a Full professor in clinical family medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). His field of expertise is obesity, diabetes, and nutrition.
Grief is a former radio show host of “The New England Health Hour” and “UIC Health Chat”. He has been an invited guest speaker for many radio, television, and multimedia interviews and presentations. Grief is an accomplished writer and is the co-author of “The End of Obesity”, published in 1998. He is the editor of the award-winning nutrition newsletter “Nutri-Talk”. He is a freelance author for several health and medical publications.
