Prof. Dr. Rashidi Ahmad, with an impressive medical career spanning several decades, holds various academic qualifications and extensive professional expertise. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Science, Malaysia, and later pursued a Master's in Emergency Medicine from the same institution. He is currently the Head of Unit A&E and Consultant Emergency Physician at KPJ Seremban Specialist Hospital, where he also serves as Dean and Professor in the Graduate School of Medicine at KPJ University. His diverse roles include Clinical Professor at the School of Medicine, KPJ University College, and as a Professor and Consultant Emergency Physician at UMMC.
With a strong background in cardiovascular emergencies, critical care medicine, pre-hospital care, procedural conscious sedation, pain management, and disaster medicine, Prof. Rashidi has made significant contributions to the field. He is recognized for his educational roles, including serving as a certified American Heart Association ACLS and PALS instructor. Additionally, he is well-published and actively involved in various editorial and reviewer roles. His career reflects a commitment to both patient care and medical education.
