Dr. Raghavender Kosgi is a consultant Microsurgical Andrologist, Urologist, and Sexual Dysfunction Specialist. He is the proud winner of a gold medal in Urology and is well known for his surgical skills as well as academic excellence. He is one of the few urologists to practice exclusive Andrology and Men’s health in India. He is a Fellow of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine (FECSM). He is the first urologist from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to accomplish a FECSM fellowship. He completed his MBBS from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada. He was awarded the “Best Outgoing Student Award” by the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council. He had completed an MS in General Surgery from the prestigious Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad. While in SMC, Vijayawada, he was the secretary for the Andhra Pradesh Junior Doctors Association (APJUDA) and during post-graduation at Gandhi Medical College, he was the President of Andhra Pradesh Junior Doctors Association, which showcased his communication and leadership skills. He is the current General Secretary of the Council of Sex Education and Parenthood (CSEP )(AP&TS) and Executive Council member of the Hyderabad Urological Society (HUS).

A summa cum laude graduate of Urology from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, from his beloved mentor and professor Dr Ch. Subbarao. He was awarded the “Medical Champions Award” by the central govt. Minister Dr D Purandhareswari. During his residency training, he assisted and performed a wide spectrum of urological surgeries. He has completed DNB Urology as an additional qualification from R and R Hospital, New Delhi. He attended Micro-Surgical Training in Mumbai by Johnson and Johnson. After his training in Andrology under, none other than Dr. Rupin Shah, the Father of Indian Andrology, he went to the United States of America for further training.

He had completed his Andrology laboratory training on comprehensive semen analysis and advanced sperm function tests, with world-renowned Dr. Ashok Agarwal at the American Centre for Reproductive Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. He also completed training in male infertility under Dr Edmund Sabanegh, Glickman Urological Centre, Cleveland Clinic, USA. He is one of the few Andrologists from India, who have completed, microsurgical training at Weill Cornell Medical Centre, Cornell University, New York, USA under the supervision of Dr. Philip S Li, Dr. Marc Goldstein, internationally renowned male infertility specialists for their pioneering work in vasectomy reversals and microsurgical varicocelectomy. He got training in micro-TESE by Dr Peter Schlegel, who is the founder and master in that procedure at Cornell University, New York. Then he moved to the University of Miami, Florida, for further training in Andrology by Ranjith Ramasamy, who is a dynamic Andrologist in Florida state. He was very lucky to observe Dr Francois Eid, a world-renowned penile implant surgeon, well known for his “no touch technique” of prosthetic surgery in New York. He is one of the few Indian doctors to get trained at the world's premier male reproductive centers in the USA, where he worked with pioneers in the field of male infertility and sexual dysfunction.

He is an expert in microsurgical varicocelectomy, micro-TESE, NAB and vasectomy reversals, No scalpel vasectomy and penile prosthetic implantation, Hypospadias repair along with routine laser kidney stone surgeries, and prostatic surgeries. Dr Raghavender maintains the dedication to patient care, academics, and research. He has performed more than 2,500 various endourological procedures ( URSL/PCNL/Laser RIRS/ TURP/Optical urethrotomy/Nephrectomy/ Pyeloplasty/Ureteric reimplantation/ Hypospadias), more than 300 kidney transplant surgeries, Around 500 microsurgical Varicocelectomies, more than 1000 sperm retrievals ( TESE/TESA/micro TESE/PESA).

He has delivered lectures as an expert speaker at various National, Regional, and International academic forums in the field of Andrology. He was a panelist for many panel discussions and moderated many scientific sessions across India.

He is a member of many prestigious international organizations like the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM), the South Asian Society for Sexual Medicine (SASSM) American Urological Association (AUA), the Indian American Urological Association (IAUA), the European Society of sexual medicine ( ESSM), Urological Society Of India (USI), The Society Of Genitourinary Surgeons (SOGUS) SouthZone USI, Indian Medical Association (IMA), CSEPI (council of Sexual Education and Parenthood International), Health Reforms Doctors Association (HRDA).
