Olivia “Libby” Morgan, PharmD, BCCCP, BCGP is a clinical pharmacist specialist in neurology for the Marcus Stroke and Neuroscience Center. Her role is a hybrid of acute care and ambulatory care. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia in 2012. In addition, she completed both her pharmacy practice and emergency medicine specialty residencies at Grady Health System. Dr. Morgan is the program coordinator for the PGY-1 pharmacy residency program, PGY-2 neurology pharmacy residency program, and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences for Grady Health System. Additionally, she has served as a neurology preceptor for the PGY2 neurology resident, PGY1 residents, and students from Mercer University and the University of Georgia. Dr. Morgan is the recipient of the Grady Health System Rookie of the Year award (2017) and the Emory Neurology Residency Program’s Honorary Faculty Award (2019). She guest lectures for the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and Emory’s neurology residency program. Dr. Morgan actively participates on the Marcus Stroke and Neuroscience center’s acute stroke committee and the pharmacy department’s professional development committee. Furthermore, she participates as a reviewer for the Annals of Pharmacotherapy. Her dedicated research interests individualized stroke therapies, reducing door-to-needle times for alteplase administration in acute ischemic stroke, and neuroimmunology.
