Dr. Micol Rothman completed her undergraduate training at Brown University and then received her MD degree from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. She did her internship and residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and then came to the University of Colorado for her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and has stayed on as faculty since 2006.
Dr. Rothman is currently a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology with secondary appointments in Psychiatry and Radiology. She directs the Metabolic Bone Clinical Program and is a co-founder of the UC Health Integrated Transgender Program. Her research interests are in the intersection of sex steroids and metabolic bone disease.
