Dr. Melkers joined Lyme Road Dental in the fall of 2012. He was drawn to the patient-centered philosophy and excellence in the care of Dr. McWilliams and Dr. Wonsavage and their team. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Melkers earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Marquette University School of General Dentistry and continued his studies to achieve his Fellowship in The Academy of General Dentistry. Professionally he has balanced his time between his dental practice, teaching, and publishing.
Dr. Melkers has presented to dentists, technicians, and physicians around the world committed to providing the best care possible for their patients. Heavily influenced by growing up in his father’s dental clinic. Dr. Melkers has always placed his patients, their health, and their choice at the center of his practice. While keeping at the cutting edge of technology and procedures available in the world, he has never lost touch with his roots in a country, and family practice. When he is not helping patients, teaching, or publishing, Dr. Melkers can be found on the river, on the slopes, or playing disc golf. Outside of dentistry, his passions are cooking, traveling, and experiencing the world with his wife Jeanine.
