Associate Professor

Dr. Linda Scheetz is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Lehman College and The Graduate School and University Center, CUNY. Dr. Scheetz's research with older adults focuses on the epidemiology of potentially life-threatening injuries, prehospital triage, early postinjury identification of moderate and severe injuries, and injury outcomes. Her research has been supported by funding from the George N. Shuster Fellowship Fund, Emergency Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Busch Biomedical Research Foundation.

Dr. Scheetz is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Emergency Nursing and serves on peer review panels for several leading nursing and medical journals. She is a Fellow in the Academy of Emergency Nursing and a Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing Research Scholar. Dr. Scheetz is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, where she has served on national committees and workgroups. She holds additional professional memberships in the Society of Trauma Nurses, American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing, Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science, and the Eastern Nursing Research Society.
