Dr. Lester Appell, DDS graduated from UIC College of Dentistry in 1977. He was an associate professor at Loyola University dental school for 18 years. Presently, Dr. Lester lectures and gives webinars about “digital diagnostics for the modern dental practice.” Dr. Lester performs all of our oral surgery including implant placement, periodontal surgery, and bone grafting. Dr. Lester is also proficient in cosmetics and full-mouth reconstruction cases. Additionally, he speaks American Sign Language and has worked with the deaf community, lecturing many groups over the years. Dr. Lester has 2 sons, a soft-coated wheaten named Gabby, and their wife Barbara. He is an avid skier, biker, and traveler.
