Dr. Leslie S. Zun received his medical degree from Rush Medical College and his business degree (MBA) from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg School of Management. He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Zun’s research interests include healthcare administration, violence prevention, and behavioral emergencies. His publications have addressed the administration of hospitals and emergency departments, quality improvement topics, and psychiatric emergencies. He has presented his research and lectured on these topics both nationally and internationally. He is a board member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry and is active in many specialty organizations.
