Kashif Jabbar Piracha, MD FACP FASN FNKF is a dual board-certified physician in active clinical practice as an Academic Hospitalist at the Methodist Willowbrook Hospital (MWH) in Houston, Texas. Dr. Piracha completed his internal medicine residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia in 2006. He completed his nephrology & hypertension fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital in 2014.

Dr. Piracha serves as Clerkship Director, Internal Medicine for Texas A&M University College of Medicine at the MWH site. In this role, he provides clinical and bedside education to the College’s students. He has held this position since 2019.

Dr. Piracha has received numerous accolades and distinctions in his career. He received the Outstanding Faculty Internal Medicine award from Texas A&M College of Medicine Class of 2022. He was recognized for providing outstanding care by the Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group in 2019. He is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology, and the National Kidney Foundation.
