Dr. Julius Goh Liang Chye graduated from Manipal University in 2009 with multiple distinction honors and received the MMA gold medal for the best student in ENT. He also obtained memberships from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Ireland in 2017 and 2018 respectively. He completed his post-graduate medical specialty in the subject of Otorhinolaryngology head and neck surgery from the University of Malaya in 2019. He has also completed a clinical attachment at Kyung Hee University, South Korea in the subject of sleep surgery and rhinology in 2018, a clinical attachment at Changi General Hospital (CGH), Singapore General Hospital (SGH), and Stanford University (USA) in 2022 and 2023 respectively to further strengthen his understanding and competence in sleep medicine and surgery.
Dr.Goh started his service in early 2010 and has since served in multiple hospitals in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Melaka, and Johor states. He is currently practicing as an Otorhinolaryngologist at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Malaya Medical Centre since 2022. Dr. Goh is currently serving at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the University of Malaya Medical Centre as a clinical lecturer whereby his duties include the management of PSG, CPAP/BiPAP manual/auto titration, sleep surgery/DISE, and the diagnosis of sleep-related disorders such as Sleep apnoea. He is currently spearheading the SNORE Team as its leader which aims to develop the University of Malaya’s first national premier Sleep unit.
Dr.Goh has also received multiple awards including the best research paper for the MSOHNS Annual Scientific Meeting 2019. His research had also been funded by multiple research grants in the past. He has also published and reviewed numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals including randomized controlled trials and has also developed several patented medical devices and software for hospital management systems.
