Joseph Valentino
MD, FACS
Joseph Valentino, MD is currently a professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He received his medical degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He served his residency at the University of Minnesota and completed the Fellowship in Head & Neck cancer surgery and microvascular reconstruction at the University of Iowa. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Since 2006, he has been selected as one of the 100 Best Doctors in his specialty. Dr. Valentino is well-written in the medical literature and lectures extensively to other medical groups. Dr. Valentino is the chair of the VA Cancer Committee. He currently serves on the editorial board of several Otolaryngology publications and several committees for the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as well as the University of Kentucky.
