Jonathan Buisson trained as a pharmacist and started his career in the pharmaceutical industry at Bayer UK. He then spent nine years at The Pharmaceutical Journal, reporting on news, politics, and business in British pharmacy and healthcare. Following the demerger of Alliance Healthcare and its acquisition by Amerisource Bergen (now Cencora) in 2021, he has focused on European Public Affairs in Brussels and supporting AH’s European pharmacy, wholesale, and 3PL businesses in nine key markets.

He is still involved with FMD, serving as one of the European Healthcare Distribution Association (GIRP) representatives on the EMVO Technical Advisory Group (TEAG) and a frequent attendee at EMVO events and meetings.
