
Heather Johnson
PharmD, BCACP
Heather A. Johnson, PharmD is a Clinical Assistant Professor at West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. She practices in ambulatory care within the department of family medicine. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and completed her residency at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and the general internal medicine clinics. Heather enjoys practicing in interdisciplinary clinics and contributing to improved outcomes for diabetes, weight management, COPD, and geriatric patients at her clinic. She also has an interest in women's health, improving pharmacists' oral communication skills, and expanding the pharmacist's role in primary care. Heather is a member of the APhA Diabetes Management SIG communications committee and was previously an AACP Walmart Scholar.
