Rev. Guillermo Escalona serves as Director of Pastoral Care at the Miami Cancer Institute. He has earned degrees in theology, public administration, and fine art has pursued additional post-graduate study in counseling and coaching and is a board-certified chaplain.

He leads a popular radio program on one of the top Spanish news/talk AM radio stations in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale market. He has received a number of awards and commendations, including the Golden Age award from the Latino Center on Aging and the Chaplain of the Year award from the Florida Baptist Convention.
