Dr. Gregory Francis Michaud, MD, FHRS is a Director of the VT Ablation Program at the Mass General Hospital Boston, MA. Dr. Michaud received his MD degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. He completed his medical training at Boston University Hospitals and Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at Tufts University. After leading the EP Program at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Dr. Michaud returned to Boston to join the staff of the Telemachus andIrene Demoulas Family Foundation Center for Cardiac Arrhythmias at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2022.
His main clinical and research interests focus on catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, particularly ventricular tachycardia (VT), atrial fibrillation (AF), and other supraventricular tachycardias (SVTs). He is well known as a pioneer in diagnosing complex arrhythmias in the EP lab. Dr. Michaud also performs implantation and follow-up of cardiac device therapy including pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs), and Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) devices.
