Dr. Jouney is an addiction psychiatrist, at the University of Michigan. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his general psychiatry residency, and addiction psychiatry fellowship, at the University of Michigan. He is board-certified in general psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and addiction medicine. He has lectured on addiction and psychiatric topics throughout the state of Michigan. Dr. Jouney’s clinical interests include addiction and chronic pain, addiction in pregnancy, and how addiction affects healthcare providers. He is involved in medical education, and assists in the training of medical students, and residence from various specialties, at the University of Michigan’s medical school.
