Dr. Poticny is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the Baylor College of Dentistry (Texas A&M School of Dentistry-Dallas, TX). He an adjunct clinical associate professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Ann Arbor MI, Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences, and Endodontics recognized as the top dental school in the United Staes and top 5 in the world. He is fellow of the Academy of Computerized Dentistry and a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, International Association for Dental Research, and the International Society of Computerized Dentistry.
He is a published author for numerous articles, clinical case reports, scientific abstracts, and other topics related to dental materials and operative dentistry in both national and international dental journals and publications. He is widely recognized by his peers as a leading educator and mentor to the dental profession making him highly sought as a speaker and presenter. He has educated, presented, and lectured in 44 states, Canada, Europe, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand for major dental oraganizations, dental conferences, the United States military, dental study clubs, and dental schools. He also serves as a consultant to dental manufacturers and serves as an editorial review board member for multiple peer-reviewed dental journals.
