Cathy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Iowa. In
addition to practicing clinically for over 25 years, Cathy’s career has included experience in the dental
insurance industry, public health, hospital pediatric dentistry and as the Director of Dental Hygiene
Services for a large dental service organization. She is currently a full-time Professional Educator in the
Southwest region for Philips Oral Healthcare.
She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, as well as the Organization for Safety,
Asepsis and Prevention. Cathy has been married for 32 years and has a teenage daughter. She enjoys
needlework, walking, reading, volunteering at the local animal shelter and spending her weekends as a
full-time soccer mom.
