Dr. C Sharath Kumar was born in a village called Ramanahalli in the Tumakur district. His father is Sri. R. B. Chennappa and mother Smt. Revamma. His wife Dr. Rajeshwari is joint director and serving as Sonologist in MIVFH. They have two children. His son Dr. Ravikumar is working as an IVF Specialist in MIVFH, Daughter S. Shilpa did her MBBS at J S S Medical College, Mysuru. Presently doing M. S. Dermatology at Cardiff University, United Kingdom.
