Conference Summary Müller, Naidich & White: A Masters Course in Chest Imaging is organized by CME Science and will be held from Mar 07 - 10, 2022 at JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort & Spa, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Target Audience: This CME/CE activity, entitled The Masters Course in Chest Imaging, is targeted to practicing radiologists and radiologic nurses, physician assistants, technologists, scientists, residents, fellows and others who are interested in current techniques and applications for chest imaging.. Please find below additional details of this activity that should be taken into consideration during the preparation of the educational materials. Accreditation: Physician Continuing Medical Education: The Postgraduate Institute for Medicine designates these live activities for a maximum of 18 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Technologists: Courses are pending approval for up to 16.0 ARRT Category A CE credits for those technologists attending the entire course. Description: The faculty will present a comprehensive series of lectures and interactive case discussions, covering important and timely topics in chest imaging, including HRCT and diffuse lung disease, airway disease, lung infection, mediastinal masses, lung nodule diagnosis, lung cancer screening, and state of the art diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. Emphasis will be placed on interaction with the audience with ample time for questions and discussion. If time allows during the Questions and Answers, a review of cases brought by registrants on their computers may be reviewed one on one with faculty. Educational Objectives: At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be better able to: • Use contemporary imaging techniques and protocols to accurately diagnose airway disease, lung infection, & mediastinal masses. • Describe thoracic radiologic procedures for clinical cancer management. • Outline CT protocols and techniques for improved clinical diagnosis of diseases of the cardiovascular system. • Integrate information presented in this course into efforts to improve the imaging skills of the participants.
