Learning objectives:
• Understand the essentials of ultrasound as well as the value of ultrasound artifacts and how they can affect POCUS.
• Develop a systematic strategy to assess different organ systems, such as the lungs, abdomen and heart
• Learn how to differentiate pathologies from normal findings and gain a deep understanding of the scope and limitations of POCUS
• Acquire optimal ultrasound images and learn how to troubleshoot
• Master vascular access techniques, training on simulators, and deep venous thrombosis scans of the lower extremities
